So Destiny 2 announced, gameplay revealed, BETA dates revealed, it looks like we are getting very close to Destiny 2 and wrapping up Destiny 1. That’s right! We have until 1st August 2017 to complete triumphs that will reward us with emblems in Destiny 2. And they are looking goooood! As you can see below, in the image posted by Deej yesterday during the Weekly ‘F5’ Update, the emblem itself now takes the whole lot of estate on the character screen. Thumbs up from me!
Now, I will explain how to get these and when is the date by you can do anything about getting them.
First of, important date 1st August 2017. By this date you can still make progress in order to get these emblems. After that any progress will be frozen so then it will be transffered over to Destiny 2. Important note: you will still be able to progress your character on Destiny 1 but it will not transfer over to Destiny 2.
Now how to get the emblems.
Complete a Moment of Triumph during Destiny’s first year.
Laurea Prima II
Complete all 10 Moments of Triumph during Destiny’s first year.
Slayer of Oryx
You bought The Taken King and completed a Moment of Triumph during Destiny’s second year.
Heard the Call
You bought The Taken King and completed all 8 Moments of Triumph during Destiny’s second year.
You bought Rise of Iron and reached Rank 2 in the Age of Triumph record book.
You bought Rise of Iron and reached Rank 7 in the Age of Triumph record book.
You achieved Grimoire score of over 5000 in Destiny 1.
I think they all look really good, however one missing emblem in my opinion is the emblem based on all the achievements above, would be really cool I think.
All in all, the emblems do look pretty, but I’m sure you’ve noticed that you can still do something about getting three of them: Young Wolf, Saladin’s Pride and Lore Scholar, the remaining emblems are bound to Year 1 and 2 achievements bound to those years. So if you have achieved them during Year 1 or 2 you will be granted them automatically.
So this is how Bungie will reward veteran players…Deej didn’t actually say that it was all in regards to this…he specifically mentioned that they don’t want to spoil everything straight away. So we may or may not be in for surprise when we start playing Destiny 2!
